Charged with Murder


Ricardo St. Catherine, age 19, of Desruisseaux, Micoud, has been charged with the murder of his 18 month old daughter, Kayla Camille of Angier, Micoud.

Post Mortem Examination Result
A Post Mortem Examination was performed on the body of 54 year old Kearl Marquis of New Development, Soufriere, on Monday the 1st May 2006. The result indicated that she died from a broken neck.

Positive Impact
The Community Relations Branch along with the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program is having a Graduation Ceremony on Sunday the 21st of May 2006. Protus Joseph, of Vieux Fort, who is also mentally challenged, was shot in the leg by police, when he attacked police with a cutlass.

Fatal Accident - 15/05/06
On Monday the 15th of May 2006, about 3:40pm, an accident occured on the Millennium Highway, Castries, involving motor car, registration number: PD 2424, driven by Hector Burton Gajadhar, who is a visitor from England, presently residing at Sea View Apartments, and motor Lorry, Registration number: TC 4537, driven by Terrance Charlemagne of Millet.

Drugs Found - 24/05/06
On Wednesday the 24th of May 2006, about 2:00pm, members of the Drug Unit, Vieux Fort, conducted, a search at a small wooden house located at Bruceville, Vieux Fort. Upon entering the house, four wet polythene bags were seen on the floor of the said house. Click for the full story

Ola Florenville, age 26 of Grass Street, Castries, was shot in the left shoulder, by an unknown assailant, about 11:50pm, on Saturday the 27th of May 2006, at Wilton’s Yard, Castries.

Nicholas Satney, age 45 of Dennery, a Compressor Operator at Bois D’Orange, Gros Islet, was involved in an accident which occurred about 9:30am on Friday the 26th of May 2006, at Bois D’Orange.

Alvin Francis, age 27, of Marigot, was shot in the abdominal area by an unknown individual during the Marigot Day activities, about 12:05am on Sunday the 21st of May 2006.

Post Mortem result for Kayla Camille - 18/05/06
18 months old Kayla Camille of Angier, Micoud, was brought to the St. Judes’s hospital about 11:55am, on Wednesday the 10th of May 2006, by her 18 year old father, Ricardo St. Catherine, of the same address. She was experiencing breathing problems at the time she was taken to the hospital. Kayla died about 3:30pm that same day, at the hospital.

Caught With Drugs - 12/05/06
On Sunday the 7th of May 2006, about 2:20pm, members of the Drug Unit, Vieux Fort, acting on information received, set up a road block in an area along the Castries/Vieux –Fort highway.

The body of 70 year old Sedman Williams of La Clery, Castries was burnt to death at a house fire at La Clery on Friday the 28th of April 2006, about 9:45pm.
