Opening of the New Micoud Police Sation - 21/11/06

The new Micoud Police Station was opened on Wednesday the 15th of November 2006.
In attendance was the Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security, Senator Calixte George, Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ausbert Regis, Parish Priest, Fr. Ed Mesias, Gazetted officers of the Royal St. Lucia Police Force and community members.


Swearing In of British Officers - 02/11/06
Seven British police officers were sworn into the Royal St. Lucia Police Force at 2:00pm on Wednesday the 1st of November 2006, at the Office of the Commissioner of Police, in the presence of Gazetted officers of the Royal St. Lucia Police Force.

Gaius Frederick Mc Lauren of Odsan, Castries, was arrested and charged on the 12th of November 2006, for the murder of Joseph Adrian Frederick, age 59 of Odsan.

Shooting incident involving Perry Jules - 20/11/06
About 9:30 p.m. on Friday, November 17th, 2006, Perry Jules alias Archer, age twenty (20) of La Clery, Castries, was shot dead during a Police Operation at Bagatelle, Castries.

Guyanese Nationals found with Drugs - 16/11/06
Two Guyanese Nationals were arrested at the George F. L. Charles Airport on Thursday the 9th of November 2006, for possession and importation of approximately 4.2 kgs. of cocaine.

Update on Shooting Incident at Micoud - 16/11/06
Acting on the advice of the Director of Public Prosecution, Mrs. Victoria Charles-Clarke, Police Constable 669 Garvin Saudatt, age 27 years, of Vieux Fort, attached to the Micoud Police Station, has been arrested and charged.

Shooting - 15/11/06
Jacinta Riley, age 40 of Leslie Land, Castries, was the victim of a gun shot wound to the buttocks.

Charged With Murder - 06/11/06
Two brothers, namely: Samuel and Cornelius Clairmont of Thomazo, Dennery, were charged with the murder of Nicholas Caul of the same address.

Homicide - 06/11/06
Hayden R Wilson of La Croix Maingot, Castries, was shot twice in the chest area on Sunday the 6th of November 2006, about 11:00pm at Odsan.
