Murder Charge for Laborie Man

On Monday the 8th of August, 2011, Laborie police preferred a charge against 38-year-old, Curtis Mark a.k.a “Smile” of Kennedy Highway, Laborie, for the murder of 23-year-old, Vitues Jn.Pierre a.k.a. “Mansion” of Testannier Highway, Laborie, who was shot about 2:00pm, on Friday the 29th of July, 2011, on High Street, Laborie.
Reports indicate that Jn.Pierre was in an area on High Street, when he was approached by Mark who reportedly has a history of mental illness. According to reports, Mark took some money from Jn.Pierre’s pocket and left the area. Jn.Pierre pursued him but he reportedly turned towards Jn.Pierre during their encounter and allegedly stabbed him several times. Jn.Pierre was thereafter taken to St.Jude Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A post mortem which was later performed revealed death by haemorrhagic shock, secondary to stab wounds.
Curtis Mark appeared in court on Monday the 8th of August, 2011, where he was remanded at the Bordelais Correctional Facility until the 30th of August, 2011, when he reappears in court.
